What The Position is About

Lead the successful launch and ongoing day-to-day operations of the company’s new retail location, overseeing sales, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. Coordinate store opening preparations, including layout, merchandising, inventory receiving, operational procedures, and vendor collaboration. Recruit, hire, train, and develop an initial team of 6-10 employees, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and a strong customer-focused culture. Drive sales growth and profitability through effective merchandising, inventory management, customer service, and community engagement. Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing, signage, special orders, and store presentation, including implementing cycle-count procedures to minimize shrink and discrepancies. Manage full P&L responsibility, including revenue, profitability, budgets, expenses, payroll, and KPIs. Oversee employee scheduling, daily operational coverage, safety procedures, and facility maintenance to ensure efficient store operations. Establish and improve operational processes that strengthen efficiency, inventory accuracy, communication, and the overall customer experience. Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and the local community while fostering a collaborative, service-oriented team environment.

The Right Candidate Will Have

• 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably within the hardware industry.
• Experience leading, training, and developing a team.
• P&L management experience.
• Epicor BisTrack system experience.
