JOB TITLE: Event Manager

LOCATION: Five O Fore Golf + Entertainment - [New Orleans, LA]

STATUS: Full-Time, Salary

SCHEDULE: Weekdays + Select Evenings/Weekends (based on event schedule)

Five O Fore is a high-energy experience combining immersive golf entertainment with elevated hospitality, music, three full-service bars, and unforgettable events. We're redefining the way people celebrate, connect, and play.

ROLE SUMMARY

We're seeking an Event Manager who is equal parts strategic planner and hospitality guru. You'll be responsible for planning and executing top-tier events - from corporate outings and birthday parties to brand activations and community tournaments. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver the signature Five O Fore experience every time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Client Experience

  • Respond to inbound event inquiries and conduct venue tours
  • Develop custom proposals and packages tailored to client needs
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners

Planning & Logistics

  • Coordinate all event details: timelines, menus, staffing, equipment, entertainment, décor, and more
  • Work closely with the culinary, bar, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Oversee event setup, run-of-show, and teardown

On-Site Management

  • Be the face of the event - greeting guests, solving problems, and keeping the vibe high
  • Supervise day-of team members and manage real-time logistics
  • Ensure every event reflects our brand of hospitality, energy, and excellence

Post-Event

  • Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather feedback
  • Manage event recaps and internal debriefs to improve future experiences
  • Track data and report on sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years in event management, hospitality, or related experience
  • Proven success planning and executing events from start to finish
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High energy, solution-oriented mindset, and love for fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed
  • Bonus if you've worked in entertainment, nightlife, sports, or restaurant groups
