Job Description

Role description summary / Purpose of the role:

To manage a range of passive equity funds within the Global Systematic Equity portfolio management team. The role will include all aspects of management for a range of regional and global index equity portfolios including rebalancing, risk monitoring and exposure management.

What we will ask you to do:

  • Portfolio Management - you will have responsibility for various daily tasks associated with managing index funds such as: monitoring tracking, risk and exposure, trading for index changes and cash flows, performance measurement and attribution
  • Analysis of upcoming corporate actions for value add or wealth preservation opportunities
  • Working with investment managers to improve efficiency of processes and workflow, with a strong emphasis on technology-enabled solutions
  • Project work may include working with our research team to help guide and implement various projects that drive efficiency and improve service levels
  • Create reports and presentations for internal and external clients

  • A good understanding of Factset, advanced Excel, and coding knowledge would be useful
  • Demonstrated interest in and hands-on use of AI tools
  • Numerically minded and confident with data handling and interpretation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, providing support, prioritizing workload
  • Initiate, demonstrate flexibility and think creatively to solve problems
  • Absolute attention to detail and high degree of accuracy when working under pressure

Education & Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree
  • Ideally a finance related post grad / CFA (or equivalent)
  • Experience requirement: 3+ years working in a financial institution or a finance-specific industry. You will have a good practical understanding of index funds and ideally experience working within, or closely with, an equity fund management team or similar group.

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $157,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
