JOB SUMMARY

Assist with daily operations of the Cybersecurity Lab by providing technical and administrative support to faculty and students.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor the Cybersecurity Lab during open hours.
• Assist with installing and configuring necessary software (VMware, VirtualBox, Wireshark, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Splunk, Snort, Suricata, Nmap, Nessus, OpenVAS, Burp Suite, etc.).
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and software issues.
• Ensure lab guidelines are followed.
• Provide support for faculty-led research and student projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum GPA 2.0.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools (Wireshark, Splunk, Kali Linux, Metasploit, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience with virtualization and networking simulators (VMware, VirtualBox, etc)

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

This position is department-funded and specific to the Cybersecurity Lab.
