The Coordinator, Retail & Brand Activation supports the Retail Marketing, Brand Activation, and Events team in the execution of retail marketing, visual merchandising, and event projects across the business. This role will provide operational assistance and project coordination on various initiatives in partnership with Wholesale accounts.

The Marketing team at New Era Cap is responsible for developing and executing strategies that elevate brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and support product launches across global markets. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful campaigns, tell compelling brand stories, and ensure consistent messaging that strengthens New Era’s position in sport, culture, and lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project coordination for Retail Marketing initiatives across the business, including but not limited to campaign execution at retail, activations/events at key accounts, analysis of retail account buys, competitive research, and working cross-functionally to request marketing assets for accounts
• Partner with Legal, Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, and other internal departments to ensure all standard operating procedures are completed through each step of the purchase request & order fulfillment processes
• Work with internal teams to bring brand campaigns to life at retail – inclusive of asset creation process, print production, shipment, and implementation
• Responsible for tracking and management of both project-specific and annual department budgets
• Support US Sales team in leveraging company-wide fixture program to increase sell-through and New Era’s market share at retail
• Daily responsibilities associated with New Era’s stocked point-of-purchase fixture program, including order input, inventory maintenance, and budget tracking
• Partner with key internal business partners (Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, Product Development, etc.) to ensure the brand’s product and creative vision is carried through to each environment
• Analyze the impact above projects have on the sell-through of New Era product; analyzes ROI and other applicable KPIs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Keep all sensitive matters confidential
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent project management, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of core Marketing principles and a passion for the industry
• Comprehension of financial data and budget tracking
• Energetic and outgoing person who embraces work with a sense of urgency and persistence with a solution-based mentality
• Ability to handle changing priorities and work collaboratively across organizational structures
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, etc.) a plus

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred; additional experience in lieu of degree considered
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience working in office environment required; professional marketing experience preferred

• The location for this position is 100% on-site in Buffalo, NY
• 0% to 5%; domestic

The salary range for this posted position is $50,000-$60,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
