The ANZ Consumer Marketing Lead is responsible for accelerating patient reach, disease awareness, GP bookings and long-term engagement by building and leading consumer marketing capabilities across Australia and New Zealand. This role serves as a Lilly Consumer Marketing vertical integration, bringing together Masterbrand, Disease State Education (DSE), New Zealand consumer activation, digital channels, experiences, media and emerging capabilities into a unified strategy that drives meaningful business outcomes and patient impact.

Operating at the intersection of healthcare, technology, data, media and brand strategy, the role is responsible for identifying future growth opportunities, developing scalable consumer engagement models, and ensuring Lilly remains at the forefront of consumer marketing innovation within a highly regulated environment. The role works across therapeutic areas and business units, partnering closely with global teams, brand teams, medical, corporate affairs, regulatory, market access and external partners to create connected consumer experiences that move people from awareness to action, seeking medical engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Consumer Strategy & Growth Develop and lead the ANZ consumer marketing strategy aligned with Lilly's enterprise priorities, portfolio objectives and growth ambitions. Identify opportunities to expand patient reach and improve health outcomes through innovative consumer engagement approaches. Lead the development of integrated consumer journeys across awareness, consideration, and action to engage with a HCP. Build scalable frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple disease states and future launches. Translate global strategies into locally relevant consumer experiences and solutions.
• New Zealand Consumer Marketing Serve as the consumer marketing lead for New Zealand, leveraging the unique consumer engagement environment to drive awareness, education and treatment adoption. Develop and execute integrated consumer campaigns across paid, earned, owned and shared channels. Identify opportunities to establish New Zealand as a leading market for consumer marketing innovation and capability development. Drive local partnerships and activation strategies that increase Lilly's visibility, credibility and impact in-market.
• Disease State Education Leadership Lead the development and execution of disease awareness and education initiatives that drive understanding, reduce stigma and motivate appropriate health-seeking behaviours. Ensure programs are grounded in consumer insight, behavioural science and evidence-based communication principles. Partner with medical and regulatory teams to ensure all activities remain compliant while delivering meaningful impact. Establish Lilly as a trusted source of health information and patient support.
• Masterbrand & Corporate Consumer Engagement Support the evolution of Lilly's reputation and relevance amongst Australian and New Zealand consumers. Collaborate with Corporate and Public Affairs teams to ensure consistent and connected storytelling across consumer-facing initiatives. Build strategies that strengthen trust, awareness and understanding of Lilly's role in improving health outcomes. Activate consumer engagement opportunities through sponsorships, partnerships, cultural moments and community initiatives where appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline.
• 5 + years’ experience in consumer marketing, digital marketing, brand strategy, consumer engagement or growth marketing.
• Demonstrated success delivering integrated consumer campaigns within regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, customer journey design and omnichannel engagement.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with experience utilising data to drive business decisions.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling and leadership capabilities.
