  • Conduct site inspections and ensure work meets applicable codes, safety rules, and quality standards.
  • Provide executive management with regular progress, budget, and risk updates.

Systems, Processes, and Team Communication

  • Design and implement scalable construction and maintenance systems across the company.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for renovations, maintenance, purchasing, project approvals, and subcontractor management.
  • Establish centralized tracking for work orders, project milestones, budgets, assigned personnel, and deadlines.
  • Create repeatable processes for estimates, approvals, materials ordering, progress photos, invoices, and closeout inspections.
  • Build communication workflows connecting field personnel, property managers, subcontractors, and executive leadership.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that provide management with timely project status and cost visibility.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and continuously improve efficiency as the portfolio grows.

Physical and Travel Requirements

  • Visit construction sites and manufactured housing communities regularly.
  • Inspect construction areas, including roofs and crawlspaces, when safe and appropriate.
  • Travel between properties and respond to urgent operational needs as required.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company driving requirements.
