Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Location: New York or New Jersey Office

What You'll Do:

• Conduct title and survey reviews for commercial real estate transactions.
• Assist in the preparation and review of purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, and lease agreements.
• Coordinate and manage closings, including the preparation of closing documents and checklists.
• Handle due diligence tasks such as ordering and reviewing title commitments, surveys, and other related documents.
• Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing various legal documents and correspondence.
• Organize and maintain real estate files and records.
• Conduct research and gather information as needed for real estate transactions.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions to ensure smooth and timely completion.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate.
• College degree and/or paralegal certificate required.
• Solid experience in title and survey reviews, purchases, sales, financings, and leasing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary range for this position is $76,500 to $162,500, commensurate with experience.
