In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Scope of practice will encompass:
Provides evidence based comprehensive care for women, including routine obstetric care and management of routine non-surgical care for gynecologic care for patients. Obstetric care includes antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care for pregnant patients. CNM assumes direct responsibility for implementing care plan.
Participates and/or leads quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
Acts as a liaison between the patient, family and physicians.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to assure consistent and appropriate patient care for this patient population.
Works collaboratively with the Medical Director/Chairman and or Collaborating Physician.
Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey with primary focus of education and training as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment.
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field.
Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred. Serve on-call and/or weekend rotations as required.
Salary range: $142,900 - $157,200. Generous w RVU production incentive. Ability to earn up to 5% quality incentive.
