Business Operations Analyst - Ohio Woodland Stewart (OWS)

Business Operations Analyst for Ohio Woodland Stewart (OWS). Creates OWS events using Cvent and monitors online registration for OWS workshops and classes. Maintains and updates the OWS websites and creates and updates databases for OWS members. Assists with marketing of extension programs, creates flyers/brochures, and Woodland Stewards newsletters. Responds to inquiries about the OWS. Assists with coordination of the Ohio State Maple Syrup operations. Assists with coordination of the Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist (OCVN) program. Maintains and updates the OCVN websites and creates and updates databases for OCVN members. Supports the SENR fiscal and administrative teams. Coordinates travel for faculty, staff, graduate students, and University guests. Manages University and Office of Sponsored Programs department PCards and performs reconciliation in Workday. Works with the College Service Center to ensure efficient processing of transactions. Responds to inquiries and assists faculty, staff, and students with fiscal, travel and purchasing procedures. Provides Workday training to faculty, staff, and students. Event Planning and Coordination. Oversee and coordinate all logistical aspects of SENR outreach, academic, and stakeholder events. Responsibilities include event scheduling and calendar management; venue identification, selection, and reservation; coordination of catering, audiovisual, transportation, and facility needs; management of event registration and communications through Cvent; development and maintenance of event timelines and checklists; and ensuring compliance with university policies.

Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of relevant experience; strong customer service mindset and collaborative style of work.

Desired Education/Experience
2-4 years of relevant experience. Ability to contribute to building a strong team by providing exceptional customer service, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude, a willingness to embrace change and providing cross coverage when needed; experience and knowledge working with the University's Financial Information systems including Workday Requisitions, Spend Authorizations, PCard, Travel, etc.; computer literacy with knowledge of spreadsheet and database software applications; experience with University functions, including research and outreach activities.
