Welcome to Bridgewater Chevrolet. We aren't just selling vehicles; we are helping people in our community get back on the road with confidence. Our dealership has a long-standing reputation for being a place where employees are treated like family and customers are treated like neighbors.
We are currently looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This isn't your typical desk job; it is a chance to be the heartbeat of our sales process. You will be the very first point of contact for our customers, acting as a friendly guide who makes the start of their journey easy and enjoyable.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us, as this role is designed to evolve into a leadership position where you can help mentor others and shape the direction of our BDC department. If you bring a positive attitude, a passion for helping people, and a desire to build a career in a supportive, high-energy environment, you will fit right in.
We provide the tools and training you need to succeed, and in return, we ask for your dedication to creating genuine, lasting connections with everyone who walks through our doors or reaches out online. Come grow with us at Bridgewater Chevrolet.
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Bridgewater Chevrolet is one of New Jersey’s leading Chevrolet dealerships, serving customers throughout Somerset, Hunterdon, Middlesex, and the surrounding communities. For more than 26 years, our organization has built its reputation on honesty, transparency, exceptional customer experiences, and long-term relationships.
Our mission is simple: build customers for life while developing people for life. We believe customers deserve to work with professionals who listen, communicate clearly, and genuinely care about helping them make the right decisions.
Whether purchasing a vehicle, servicing one they already own, or growing their business through commercial vehicles, our team focuses on relationships rather than transactions.
What truly makes Bridgewater Chevrolet different is our culture. We are a high-support, high-accountability organization. Our leaders coach, mentor, and work alongside their teams every day. We invest heavily in training, personal development, leadership growth, product knowledge, communication skills, and customer experience because we believe great people create great businesses.
Our employees receive daily coaching, one-on-one development, ongoing training, and opportunities to continually improve both personally and professionally. We hire people who are humble, hungry, coachable, and emotionally intelligent because character matters more than experience.
Many of our leaders have grown internally, and we believe the next generation of managers, directors, and future dealership leaders already work somewhere today—they simply need the right environment to develop.
If you want a job, there are plenty of dealerships. If you want coaching, leadership, personal growth, professional development, and the opportunity to build a long-term career, Bridgewater Chevrolet may be the place for you.
At Bridgewater Chevrolet, we believe people join companies for opportunity but stay because of culture. You will work directly with leaders who are hands-on, patient, supportive, and committed to your success. Coaching, mentoring, and personal development are part of our daily culture—not occasional events.
We are not simply building a dealership. We are building future leaders. Our organization continues to grow, and we are looking for people who want to grow with us.
Many employees who have left the automotive industry or other dealerships eventually realize the value of strong leadership, support, and culture and often say they did not appreciate how unique our environment was until they experienced something different.
The people who thrive here are humble, hungry, coachable, emotionally intelligent, and willing to embrace proven processes while continuing to improve themselves.
If you are looking for a place where leadership is accessible, training is constant, effort is rewarded, and growth is encouraged, Bridgewater Chevrolet offers an opportunity to build more than a career—you can build your future.
The people who excel at Bridgewater Chevrolet typically share several characteristics:
The most successful team members view themselves as professionals, not employees. They take ownership of their results, invest in their development, and understand that success comes from consistency, discipline, and relationships.
Our culture is not for everyone. Individuals who struggle at Bridgewater Chevrolet often:
We maintain high standards because our customers deserve exceptional experiences and our employees deserve to work alongside people who are committed to excellence. If you want to be challenged, supported, developed, and given opportunities to grow, you may find that Bridgewater Chevrolet is unlike any dealership you’ve experienced before.
