Associate sweater designer (private label)

In this role, you will drive seasonal sweater concepts from inspiration through execution for various private label accounts. You will combine a strong understanding of market trends, customer insights, and technical expertise to create commercially successful collections. Responsibilities

• Create design concepts, ensuring they align with the company's brand identity and market trends
• Collaborate closely with the product development and sales teams to translate design concepts into commercially viable products
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis
• Create detailed technical sketches, specifications, and design presentations
• Manage the entire design process, from initial concept development to final production
• Ensure all designs adhere to quality and industry standards

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field

Expert knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite

In-depth understanding of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with a strong eye for color, composition, and overall design aesthetics
