Assistant teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a Part Time Assistant Teacher to join our team in the mornings at Primrose School of Naperville Crossings. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and outdoor activities
• Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes, diapering and nap time
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on children's progress

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to pass background check and obtain necessary certifications
• Positive and nurturing demeanor with strong communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and follow directions from lead teacher
