Job Location: Albertus Magnus College - NEW HAVEN, CT

Salary Range: $1500.00 - $1500.00 Commission/year

Position Summary

This position works under the direction of the head coach and assists with the administration of a successful Division III athletic program. Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting, instructing, advising and counseling.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the head coach for women’s lacrosse program.
• Assist with the administration of a successful Division III athletic program, including but not limited to; coaching, recruiting, instructing, advising, film breakdown and counseling.
• Serve as a positive role model for all student-athletes and represent Albertus Magnus College in a professional, responsible, and positive manner.
• Follow all NCAA, conference, and Athletics Department guidelines.
• Foster a culture of compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, and to assist with the promotion of an environment of institutional control over intercollegiate athletics by Albertus Magnus College.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience at the collegiate, club, and/or scholastic levels as a student-athlete and/or coach.
• Knowledge of collegiate rules and a demonstrated compliance with said rules.
• Relevant work experience may be substituted to meet qualifications for the position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience as a student-athlete or coach of the sport(s).
• General understanding of the recruiting process at the college level.

Work Schedule and Flexibility

Regular schedule: Evening and weekend hours are expected based on commitments.

Compensation

The total compensation for the Part-Time Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach position is $1,500 for the academic year. This amount will be divided into equal monthly payments and paid on the last business day of each month.
