Teamwork and Communication Skills
AmeriCorps members will help increase community awareness of the programs that GoodwillSR offers and support Mission services activities, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. The members will implement several outreach service methods, including phone calls, emails, text messaging, social media campaigns, geo-marketing/geo-tracking, and special events. Outreach includes, but is not limited to, re-engaging clients who have not visited the center for 31 days or more; inviting clients to job fairs and special events; and informing clients about services such as classes, free tax prep, Veterans Services, and certification training. Outreach to our rural population uses the methods mentioned above to promote virtual services and opportunities offered by GoodwillSR.
