Adminstrative support analyst

Description

McLaughlin Research Corporation (MRC) is seeking a part-time Administrative Support management analyst who will support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport RI. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is the United States Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with undersea warfare.

Requirements

The Administrative Support position provides administrative and programmatic support across multiple organizations within a Department at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport. Responsible for a broad variety of tasking and support, including but not limited to:

• Serve as an alternate as needed for other administrative staff.
• Prepare, edit, and route various correspondence, such as letters and memorandums.
• Assist with creating and updating documentation, briefs, reports.
• Consolidate personnel/supervisor inputs for leadership meetings, formal/informal briefs.
• Manage and maintain supervisor calendars and schedules.
• Review government personnel timecards for accuracy; execute timekeeping processes.
• Update and maintain databases and spreadsheets.
• Make conference room reservations.
• Submit visit requests.
• Submit travel orders and vouchers for government personnel.
• Help manage office supply inventory and supply order inputs.

Must be capable of multitasking with precision and maintaining high level of productivity. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. 3-5 years of experience in an administrative support position or combination of education and experience required. Navy ERP timekeeping experience preferred.
