Position Summary

Join our team! We are hiring for the role of Administrative Assistant in the Engineering Department.

Essential Job Functions

• Schedule inspections in enterprise permitting and licensing software.
• Maintain inspector schedules.
• Answer telephones and greet office visitors, providing information and assistance.
• Document citizen concerns and follow-up on resolutions.
• Receive and distribute department mail and packages.
• Maintain master department permit and project list.
• Serve as department liaison between department inspectors and builders during permit process.
• Develop and create various documents to support the Administrative Manager, City Engineer, and other Engineering Department staff.
• Maintain department supplies inventory and place orders with vendors.
