RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage student health records, medication administration, and emergency action plans
- Develop individualized health care plans and support IEP/504 teams
- Conduct mandated vision and hearing screenings
- Train and delegate tasks to unlicensed school staff
- Serve as a trusted health resource for students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with community providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Implement health initiatives and special projects district-wide
- Support schools with the greatest need and provide additional nursing coverage
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (3 years)
- Active Colorado RN license
- Colorado Special Services Provider license or eligibility
- Current CPR certification
- 3+ years of clinical experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (strongly preferred)
- School or pediatric nursing experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
