The Key Purpose of this role is to facilitate and lead continuous and sustainable improvements in product quality throughout the value chain. This is achieved through the management and optimization of manufacturing process technologies, ensuring the consistent delivery of production and quality standards. Through the application of VPO practices, the role aims to deliver exceptional quality results, maintain quality governance in line with AB InBev standards, and support the implementation of innovations and process improvements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with Global Technical Standards (GTS).
  • Implement and control Brewing Technical Manuals and Process Technical Standards (PTS).
  • Conduct process audits in accordance with AB InBev standards.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment.
  • Execute VPO implementation plans in line with VPO standards and the requirements of the seven VPO pillars.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Brewing Manager and Zone Brewing Coordinators.
  • Contribute to personal development as well as the development of team members.
  • Ensure all actions are executed on time and in accordance with VPO standards.
  • Apply problem-solving and decision-making techniques to identify root causes and verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Ensure problem-resolution processes are initiated according to OWS triggers and that the prescribed workflow is followed.
  • Support process and product optimization initiatives, including CAPIN, Value Analysis (VA), project implementation, and trials.
  • Audit quality, process, and work-practice standards to ensure effective area management.
  • Collaborate with management and operations teams to ensure the appropriate stakeholders participate in problem-solving activities.
  • Manage and control fixed and variable costs, including sub-products, while minimizing losses and waste.
  • Ensure the integrity and effectiveness of maintenance activities within the brewing area.
  • Support production and process optimization through testing, Value Analysis (VA), and CAPEX projects.
  • Apply performance management principles to drive individual and team performance.
  • Promote and maintain a healthy industrial relations climate.
  • Manage and apply personnel management practices effectively.

Key Attributes and Competencies:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Dynamic, proactive, energetic, and responsible approach to work.
  • Demonstrated coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent understanding and application of VPO principles.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience as a Brewing Area Manager or Brewing Trainee will be advantageous.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Food Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a brewing, manufacturing, or production environment.
