Police communications centre supervisor (sergeant) x2

Purpose The purpose of the Communicator Centre Supervisor position is to manage the operational functions of call answering and events resource deployment within the Communications Centre. Co-ordinates and monitors the administrative functions of the Communications Centre in collaboration with the National Commander: Operational Group.

Competency Requirements Must demonstrate all core competencies in the Tonga Police Core Competency Framework up to and including Level 2: SERGEANT

Qualifications and Experience Either/or: Postgraduate qualification (TNQAB framework Level 8) + up to 1 year of relevant experience Relevant degree + 1 year in a similar role or 3 years relevant work experience Relevant diploma + 3 years in a similar role or 8 years’ relevant work experience. Current Tonga Police employee with 5 years’ experience in a similar role (meeting other core competency and experience requirements specified in the job description + PDA results of “MET” or “EXCEEDED” for the past 2 consecutive years).
