Our vision is to be the leading authority and catalyst for digital change, connectivity and inclusion. We help businesses, governments and investors use technology to create a world that is more connected, competitive, sustainable and secure.

Job Description

We are growing our data and technology strategy practice in the Nordics, and this role will be one of the early hires into the team. You will help clients set their data direction, modernise their platforms and turn plans into lasting change.

You will work closely with client leaders, including CDOs, data platform owners and transformation leads. Assignments will range from focused diagnostic work to longer transformation programmes. Depending on your experience, you will manage client projects or lead major workstreams, taking responsibility for the team, day-to-day client relationship, delivery and outcomes. Our teams are small, so you will have real influence from the start and work directly with our Partners and global specialists.

In practice, you will:

  • lead data strategy and maturity assessments, covering the current state, target operating model, roadmap and investment case
  • shape platform modernisation programmes, from legacy migration and cloud platform design to data products, sourcing choices and vendor selection
  • designing data governance and data quality frameworks — ownership, lineage, authoritative sources and SLAs
  • help clients make change happen through stakeholder alignment, clear roles and decision-making, practical adoption plans and straightforward programme communication
  • manage client projects and workstreams from start to finish, including scope, plan, team coordination, budget, risks, client communication and the quality of the final outcome
  • turn complex analysis into clear recommendations and present them confidently to senior client audiences
  • help grow the practice by developing reusable approaches, supporting business development and coaching junior colleagues

Qualifications

You do not need to tick every box and we welcome candidates from any industry. What matters most is that you know data strategy and platform modernisation, can lead clients and teams and enjoy turning change into something practical. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring:

  • at least five years of experience in data-focused roles, including substantial work with enterprise data platforms or data transformation programmes, gained in consulting, in-house or both
  • a strong track record in data strategy or platform modernisation within a large, complex organisation, with experience taking work through delivery rather than stopping at recommendations
  • enough technical fluency to work credibly with engineering teams, including familiarity with cloud data platforms, SQL, data modelling, ETL/ELT and integration patterns. You will not be expected to build pipelines, but you should be comfortable discussing the choices behind them
  • experience managing client projects or workstreams, including teams, plans, risks and senior stakeholder relationships
  • a structured, practical approach to problem solving and confidence working with numbers in a quantitative, data-driven environment
  • hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms is an advantage, as is exposure to governance and lineage tooling (Validio, Collibra, Alation or similar), prior strategy or Big Four consulting experience, or Python, BI and AI/ML tooling
  • fluency in English, written and spoken and the right to work in Sweden
