Job Description
Laboratory Technical Support work is focused on performing routine laboratory operations to support the laboratory environment including:
- Setting up, configuring, installing, and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Follow instructions and checklists to operate equipment and mix chemical solutions for use in tests
- Taking measurements and performing routine biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures
- Compiling research data, operating records, and reports of test results
- Controlling stocks of materials and chemical agents
- Performing safety program checks and preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments
