Lead Engineer – Multi-Platform Endpoint

Role Purpose

As the Multi-Platform Endpoint Engineer, you are accountable for providing architecture, engineering, management, and lifecycle support across enterprise Windows, macOS, and Linux client estates. Operating as a multi-OS engineering specialist, you will ensure equal operational rigor across non-Windows and Windows devices. By administering management tools like JAMF Pro, Landscape, and Intune, you will maintain lifecycle upgrade programs, enforce device configuration standards, and maximize cross-platform user experience.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, System Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• A minimum of 5–7 years' hands-on systems engineering experience managing heterogeneous endpoint fleets (macOS, Linux, Windows) in enterprise environments.
• Advanced proficiency in JAMF Pro, Shell/Bash scripting, Python, Apple Business Manager (ABM), and Linux desktop administration.
• Certified Jamf Pro Admin (CTA/CCA) or equivalent Apple/Linux professional certifications are highly desirable.

Key Accountabilities & Success Measures

• macOS & Linux Platform Engineering Accountability: Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise JAMF Pro and Linux management tooling for automated device enrollment and software management.
• Lifecycle Management & OS Upgrades Accountability: Plan and execute annual major OS upgrade campaigns for macOS and Linux device fleets.
• Cross-Platform Reliability & Security Alignment Accountability: Ensure security agents, disk encryption policies, and compliance guardrails are fully functional across Windows, macOS, and Linux fleets.
