Every day, more than 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.
Our future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and railway systems expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates. You'll play a key role in shaping the Riyadh Metro Line 2 Extension by contributing to the design, coordination, and construction of trackwork and 750V DC third rail systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Civil, Traction Power, Signaling, Rolling Stock, and Systems Integration), manage critical interfaces between infrastructure and extension works, and provide technical support during installation and commissioning activities, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
- Developing and reviewing track alignment layouts, track geometry, and special trackwork designs.
- Designing and coordinating ballastless (slab) track systems for at-grade, elevated, and underground sections.
- Verifying track clearances, dynamic envelopes, and maintenance access requirements.
- Designing and reviewing 750V DC third rail systems, including conductor rail arrangements, expansion joints, and sectioning plans.
- Reviewing civil interfaces affecting track installation, tolerances, and alignment.
- Coordinating third rail support assemblies, insulators, protection boards, and fastening systems.
- Managing interfaces with Civil, Traction Power, Signaling, Rolling Stock, and Systems Integration teams.
- Participating in design review meetings with clients, consultants, and approval authorities.
- Providing technical support during construction, site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Supporting the development of engineering deliverables, including drawings, technical reports, and risk assessments.
