Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Coordination Engineer to join our team!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and validate contractor LOD 400 BIM models and LOD 500 as-built documentation against the Employer Information Requirements (EIR).
- Ensure the contractor's deliverables rigidly comply with the project’s Employer Information Requirements (EIR) and the approved BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Assemble multidisciplinary contractor models (Architecture, Structure, MEP, Utilities, Infrastructure) into master federated models using Autodesk Navisworks.
- Run and document formal BIM coordination meetings to settle complex, multi-trade spatial clashes before physical site execution.
- Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasks.
- Actively engages the relevant stakeholders, end-users, and asset owners throughout the BIM implementation journey.
- Administer and monitor activity within the project’s CDE.
- Verify the main contractor’s 4D planning and construction sequence simulations to identify structural or logistical scheduling conflicts.
- Management and administration of the relevant external engagements that may be required to deliver on the BIM Strategy.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Design from a Civil Engineering/Infrastructure discipline background. Minimum 2 years GCC regional experience. Professional memberships and charterships required. Experience from a Consultant environment on buildings, public realm, roads, bridges, tunnels and Infrastructure projects.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills, must be able to effectively communicate with the client, management and project personnel on technical and non-technical issues.
