Job Description:

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage daily transport operations for the CEE region.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) agreed with external partners.
  • Responsible for costs and budget management, including monthly reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Optimize processes by analyzing existing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing future-oriented processes.
  • Provide support and consulting to internal departments on transportation-related topics.
  • Build, maintain, and further develop relationships with industry associations and working groups.
  • Independently manage and lead projects aimed at improving quality, customer satisfaction, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in accordance with the RACI matrix.
  • Lead regular quality review meetings with external carriers.
  • Define and ensure compliance with internal packaging and shipping standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and regulations within the department.
  • If applicable, assume disciplinary leadership responsibility for assigned employees.

Qualification Requirements (including but not limited to)

  • Completed apprenticeship as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist (or another commercial/business qualification).
  • Additional transport-related professional qualifications are desirable.
  • Extensive practical experience in transport management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of transportation negotiations.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in logistics or forwarding environments.
  • Established network within the freight forwarding industry in the CEE region.
  • Initial leadership experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Language skills: Polish; English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
  • Very good MS Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel (10%).

  • Go-to-market familiarization in Poland, Hungary, and Romania.
