About the Role

The Train Operation Engineer shall support the planning and implementation of MMSP train operations. The Train Operation Engineer shall provide continuing technical support for train operation matters and progressively assume greater technical responsibility through specialist knowledge transfer from the Train Operation Expert.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of the MMSP Train Operation Plan and MMSP Interoperation Plan, including the analysis of relevant operational information and coordination of technical inputs under the guidance of the Train Operation Expert;
  • Provide technical input necessary to support the IOT's preparation of O&M deliverables and the MMSP O&M Concessionaire's preparation for commercial operations;
  • Provide continuing technical support on train operation matters from the pre-operation stage until the end of the first year of MMSP interoperation, providing inputs to the Senior O&M Integration Engineer for periodic reporting to DOTr;
  • Progressively assume greater technical responsibility for train operation matters through specialist knowledge transfer from the Train Operation Expert;
  • Perform other necessary duties to ensure the successful delivery of the consulting services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Railway Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline or master's degree is an advantage.
