Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager (Undergraduate Programme Office) at the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Undergraduate Programme Office, including admissions, orientation, academic scheduling, teaching allocations, assessments, student progression, and graduation.
- Support curriculum governance and quality assurance activities, including UGCC meetings, curriculum reviews, self-assessment, accreditation, and external/peer review processes.
- Maintain programme records, documentation, risk registers, and administrative systems in line with institutional requirements.
- Coordinate with faculty, students, university departments, alumni, and external partners to ensure effective programme delivery.
- Coordinate programme data and prepare reports, dashboards, and performance indicators to support evidence-based planning and decision-making.
- Support the implementation of strategic initiatives, process improvements, and change management activities.
- Supervise programme office staff, where assigned, and support their performance and professional development.
- Provide administrative support to the Associate Dean and Director, including meeting coordination, reports, presentations, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate programme-related events, communications, orientations, ceremonies, faculty forums, and alumni activities.
- Support budget monitoring, faculty recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning in coordination with relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality frameworks.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognised or reputable foreign university.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in academic administration, programme management, operations, or a related field.
- Strong administrative, organisational, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of academic administration, quality assurance, and higher education policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with familiarity with student information and learning management systems.
- Strong professional judgement, integrity, adaptability, and attention to detail.
