ACCIONA Construction New Zealand delivers major transport infrastructure across the country, including the completed Pūhoi to Warkworth motorway and the Eastern Busway in Auckland. The business continues to grow its portfolio through nationally significant projects, creating lasting connectivity and economic value for New Zealand communities.

About the Opportunity

Based in our Greenlane corporate office, this role provides generalist HR services and strategy across ACCIONA Construction New Zealand, supporting the organisation and its projects in delivery. Reporting to the Operations Services Manager, you will coordinate HR policies, plans and processes, support recruitment activity, and provide day-to-day people guidance to the senior team and wider management group.

Key Accountabilities

  • Apply employee relations principles to manage performance and grievances
  • Draft HR documentation under guidance of a senior team member
  • Support enterprise agreement negotiations and basic investigations
  • Analyse workforce data to identify people risks and gaps
  • Coordinate recruitment activity, including advertising and interview support
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and HR systems
  • Support delivery of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Experience managing others as part of a team
  • Sound understanding of Collective and Wage Agreements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of trust and confidentiality
  • Current New Zealand driver's licence
