Job Description

HSE Lead (Data Center)

CTS Group is currently recruiting an experienced HSE Lead to join our growing team delivering large-scale hyperscale Data Centre projects in Kristiansand, Norway. The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the project, ensuring the highest standards of HSE performance are achieved throughout every stage of delivery. This is a hands-on site leadership role where you will work closely with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives to drive a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with company procedures and local legislation, and provide leadership to the wider site HSE team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or a related discipline
  • NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5-8 years' HSE Lead experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, industrial or mission-critical environments
  • Previous experience leading HSE on large-scale construction or Data Centre projects
  • Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation
  • Experience leading site inspections, audits and safety observations
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor HSE teams while promoting a positive safety culture
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive approach with the confidence to challenge unsafe behaviours and influence site teams
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital HSE reporting systems
  • Fluent English essential
  • Previous Data Centre experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of Norwegian HSE legislation desirable
