Job Description

By joining Sedgwick, you'll be part of something truly meaningful. It’s what our 33,000 colleagues do every day for people around the world who are facing the unexpected. We invite you to grow your career with us, experience our caring culture, and enjoy work-life balance. Here, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

Team Leader AOV / Absenteeism

Are you a people-oriented leader with knowledge of (disability) insurance? And do you want to contribute to a close-knit, expert, and customer-oriented claims team? For Sedgwick TPA, we are looking for:

Team Leader AOV / Absenteeism (32-40 hours)

The role of Team Leader AOV at Sedgwick TPA involves managing absenteeism and disability claims. The team maintains contact with insured parties and involved parties, guides the entire process, and ensures correct, timely, and customer-oriented claims handling.

As a Team Leader, you actively participate in operations: you direct and coach colleagues, but also handle claims yourself. This keeps you close to the content, work distribution, and daily practice of the team.

You provide direction to the team, monitor the quality and progress of claims handling, and keep an eye on capacity, workloads, and agreements made. At the same time, you develop your substantive knowledge of AOV, so you can support your colleagues well with complex files and come to careful decisions together.

You maintain constructive contact with customers and other involved parties. In doing so, you always seek a balance between the interests of the insured, our customers, and Sedgwick. You recognize improvement opportunities in processes and collaboration and implement these together with the team into concrete actions. This way, you work towards a stable operation, high quality, and optimal service.

The team currently consists of 4 employees and an open vacancy and has a clear growth ambition. From your role as team leader, you contribute to the further development of our services, without losing sight of the quality of claims handling.
