Venture Portfolio & Programmes Analyst
A. Venture Portfolio Analysis & Startup Ecosystem
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of portfolio companies across various sectors.
- Conduct financial, operational, and market analysis of startup companies.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), growth metrics, fundraising activities, and business milestones of portfolio companies.
- Monitor venture capital market trends, startup ecosystems, emerging sectors, and investment opportunities.
- Conduct research on venture capital firms, accelerators, incubators, angel networks, and startup support organizations.
- Prepare portfolio performance reports, investment briefs, market intelligence reports, and executive summaries.
- Track startup fundraising rounds, acquisitions, mergers, strategic partnerships, and exit opportunities.
- Support due diligence activities for startup selection, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, venture databases, and reporting frameworks.
- Support the preparation of investment committee materials, portfolio reviews, and strategic updates for management.
- Analyze startup business models, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
- Support ecosystem mapping and identification of high-potential startups and founders.
B. Strategic Programmes & Portfolio Coordination
- Support the design and implementation of startup support programmes, accelerators, incubators, and ecosystem initiatives.
- Coordinate programme activities, stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting.
- Monitor programme performance and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Prepare programme updates, presentations, briefing notes, and management reports.
- Support the execution of strategic projects under the Special Projects & Portfolio function.
C. CSR, Talent Development & Social Impact Programmes
- Coordinate CSR, talent development, youth empowerment, and social impact initiatives.
- Support the development of learning programmes for founders, entrepreneurs, students, and ecosystem participants.
- Assist in programme curriculum development, session planning, participant engagement, and delivery.
- Monitor programme outcomes and impact indicators.
- Prepare programme evaluation reports and impact documentation.
D. Corporate Events, Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement
- Support engagement with investors, sponsors, corporate partners, facilitators, and service providers.
- Assist in developing sponsorship proposals, concept notes, presentations, reports, and communication materials.
- Support partnership development initiatives and stakeholder relationship management.
- Ensure excellent participant and stakeholder experience across all programmes and events.
E. Programme Operations & Reporting
- Maintain programme calendars, venture trackers, databases, attendance records, and documentation.
- Coordinate communication with founders, participants, facilitators, partners, and vendors.
- Gather and analyze programme and portfolio data.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive updates.
- Escalate risks and implementation challenges where necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge management across projects and portfolio activities.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic record with demonstrated analytical capability.
- Must be highly proficient with digital tools and technology.
- Experience Requirement
- Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in venture capital, startup ecosystem support, investment analysis, corporate strategy, programme management, consulting, CSR, social impact, or related roles.
- Experience analyzing startups, investment opportunities, venture portfolios, or innovation ecosystems will be a strong advantage.
- Experience working in a venture capital firm, accelerator, incubator, consulting firm, foundation, innovation hub, startup support platform, family office, or corporate innovation unit is highly desirable.
