Check delivered materials against approved specifications, samples and quantities.
Monitor the storage, protection and usage of construction materials to minimise damage, deterioration and wastage.
Verify that contractors carry out works in accordance with approved method statements and inspection requirements.
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with applicable HSE requirements, approved safe work procedures and project rules.
Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, environmental concerns or non-compliance and require immediate corrective action where appropriate.
Stop and report work presenting an immediate risk to people, property or the environment, in accordance with established procedures.
Participate in site safety inspections, toolbox meetings, coordination meetings and incident reviews as required.
Ensure safety concerns, incidents and corrective actions within assigned areas are properly documented and followed through.
