Job Description

1. Assist CBCs on the development of plans and strategies to deliver high quality services to achieve customer’s satisfaction aligned to the overall strategic direction of Commercial Banking Division (CB).
2. Supervises and manages all aspects of customer acquisitions and accounts administration of the portfolio for the CB. Works closely with Head of Regions, Business Banking towards the overall business development of the Centre.
3. Review and analyze course of action to be taken to improve loan asset quality and loan growth of CBCs with the objective of preventing delinquent and NPL. Also supervise and follow up on delinquent accounts to prevent falling into NPL status.
4. Present at meetings of Management Committee, meet customers on issues related to CBCs – asset quality, loan growth, business development.
5. Provide leadership and training to the team and ensure key performance indicators are adhered to and monitored from time to time.
6. Ensure CBCs comply with systems, controls and guidelines of the Bank. Manage internal and external issues relating to the Bank through participation in the various committees within the organization.
7. Coordinate and sign-off the monthly Individual Assessment (IA) for the Division for onward submission to Group Finance.
8. Monitoring and signing off all the R&R proposals submitted by the CBCs.
9. Review and monitor the EAR accounts to ensure appropriate strategies are implemented.
10. Review and conduct post mortem on all accounts which are impaired. General learning lessons from the post mortem are then incorporated to improve future process flow.
11. Coordinate the semi-annual stress test exercise with Group Risk and the CBCs.
12. Monitors monthly reports from CBCs on the status of delinquent accounts for next course of action.
