Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications & Public Relations Specialist for one of our clients in the health insurance industry. This temporary position will be responsible for developing, writing, editing, and coordinating internal and external communications while supporting initiatives that strengthen the organization’s brand positioning, reputation, and stakeholder engagement. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and draft communication plans and initiatives for various lines of business and organizational areas, ensuring effectiveness and compliance with established standards.
- Write, edit, and standardize content for internal and external audiences, including newsletters, press releases, articles, letters, brochures, scripts, and other communication materials.
- Develop and adapt health-related content for traditional and digital communication channels.
- Review and edit communications to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, spelling, style, clarity, and consistency in both English and Spanish.
- Support corporate initiatives, educational events, clinical and provider communications, and other organizational activities.
- Coordinate interviews, video productions, external translation services, and other communication-related activities as needed.
- Review and update website and digital content within established deadlines and recommend improvements to published materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams and strategic communication partners to identify opportunities that strengthen brand awareness, positioning, and engagement with key stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and writing newsletters, press releases, articles, and/or informational communications.
- Advanced proficiency in Spanish, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Advanced proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of content management systems and social media platforms.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
Required Availability:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Compensation:
$20.77 p/h
