Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer II in GAC Mexicali

Unique Skills: Requirements for the position include at least 1-2 years of experience and a related professional degree. The ideal candidate should have specialized technical skills and experience on manufacturing processes in electrical areas, as well as the ability to work in a team and be capable of working on tasks projects to improve the standard for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate DMT’s/DI/DR through RCCA and prompt action.
  • Obtain TMO’s.
  • Create work plan/BOM for new programs.
  • WOA's and work routines.
  • Prepare work routines for MRR's.
  • Projects administrations.
  • Good understanding of GD&T concepts and proficiency to elaborate visual aids, IWI's, GUL's, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. 4 years of experience in manufacturing processes.

Position Purpose:

Provides the necessary support to assure manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards and, seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the SBU. Work closely with the other groups to update and improve the standard for manufacturing as applicable.

Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate and supervises actions that increase productivity, improve processes and coordinate projects with different groups.
  • Responsible for the RCCA to solve problems.
  • Create work plan/BOM.
  • Red lines/WOA's and work routines.
  • Give feedback to the “First Article System“.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing concepts and proficiency to elaborate electrical visual aids (SOP's).
  • Create STR investigation to validate design issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • May have external negotiations.
  • Proven experience in creating work routines and continuous improvement methods.
  • English spoken and written (85% advanced).
  • Abilities as trainer to develop other engineers and/or people from different groups.
