Job Description

Ansell is a leading global provider of protection solutions. Our company designs, develops and manufactures a wide range of protection solutions that meet the ever-changing needs and demands of our markets and industries. Protection is our primary concern as millions of people around the world depend on Ansell in their professional and personal lives.

Our vision is to create a world where people can enjoy optimal protection against the risk they are exposed to. Whether at work or during their leisure time, people require the right protection for the right application. After all, what better guarantee is there than increased safety, security and productivity than through adequate protection.

About the position:

A hands-on functional role responsible for designing, configuring, testing, deploying, and continuously improving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance capabilities within the global OneERP template. You will translate complex finance and regulatory requirements into scalable solutions, act as a trusted functional partner to Finance and IT stakeholders, and help ensure successful adoption across regions and entities.

What you will do:

  • Own assigned Finance workstreams across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and fit-to-standard design through deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Translate business, accounting, tax, and control requirements into sustainable D365 processes and configuration, challenging unnecessary customisation.
  • Design and govern global template solutions while supporting justified localisation and statutory requirements.
  • Configure and optimise General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting.
  • Partner across Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, Master Data, Security, Integration, Data, Testing, and Release teams to deliver end-to-end outcomes.
  • Produce clear functional designs, process flows, configuration records, test scenarios, training materials, and deployment documentation.
  • Plan and support unit testing, system and integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, hypercare, and defect resolution.
  • Provide expert functional support, perform root-cause analysis, and help prioritise the continuous-improvement backlog.
  • Engage stakeholders confidently, communicate design decisions clearly, and support user training and adoption.

What will your bring:

  • Strong end-to-end knowledge of D365 Finance, including General Ledger, financial dimensions, posting profiles, AP, AR, Cash and Bank, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting.
  • Experience with multi-entity financial design, intercompany accounting and reconciliation, foreign currency, settlements, and local versus group reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of inventory accounting, product costing, landed cost and freight accruals, and Finance integration with Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Commercial processes.
  • Experience with payment formats and banking integrations, inbound and outbound payments, bank reconciliation, credit control, prepayments, and other complex payment scenarios.
  • Knowledge of tax configuration, D365 localisation capabilities, the D365 tax engine, and tax ISVs such as Avalara.
  • Exposure to Finance ISVs and adjacent capabilities such as BlackLine, invoice capture/OCR, workflow approvals, and three-way matching.
  • Ability to define functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows, and to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Dynamics 365 lifecycle and deployment tooling; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.

Experience and background

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or earlier Dynamics AX versions, with multiple implementation or rollout cycles.
  • Proven delivery experience across design, configuration, testing, cutover, hypercare, and support in a global or multi-entity environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or global trading organisation is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert business requirements into fit-to-standard solutions and well-structured functional documentation.

Education and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification is strongly preferred.
  • Fluent English is required.
