Our client is a Swedish iGaming company with a global footprint — a lean team running something a lot of players depend on every day.

Position:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll own the AWS environment end to end — infrastructure, pipelines, security and uptime — working directly with a small engineering team where your decisions ship quickly and matter.

Your Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the AWS environment, with infrastructure defined in code rather than clicked in the console
• Build and maintain Terraform across multiple accounts and environments — modules, state, drift
• Build and run CI/CD pipelines that take changes from pull request to production safely, with clear rollback
• Keep credentials out of code using AWS secrets tooling, with rotation in place
• Run containerised workloads on AWS and keep them healthy
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting; be point person during incidents and ship the follow-up fixes
• Handle predictable traffic spikes around events and promos, and keep cloud costs visible and controlled
• Support audit and compliance needs that come with operating in a licensed market

Your Profile:

• 5+ years in DevOps, infrastructure or SRE, with AWS as your primary cloud
• AWS security services experience
• Strong Linux and shell scripting, plus solid networking fundamentals
• CI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins
• Production experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure as code
• Docker, and container orchestration on ECS or EKS
• Monitoring and logging: CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana or Datadog
• Git discipline — infrastructure, config and scripts all live in version control and go through review
• Comfortable and proactive in using AI tools for coding (e.g. Cursor or similar)
• Clear communicator, comfortable working async with a European team and taking ownership without hand-holding

Nice to Have:

• Experience in iGaming, betting, payments or another regulated or 24/7 domain
• Experience working with Scandinavian or European clients
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Professional, Security Specialty)
