Job Description

Job Overview

This is an entry-level consulting position within Management Consulting department, supporting client engagements in bio/pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

The role involves contributing to problem solving, insight development, and client deliverables as part of a project team, while developing core consulting skills and methodologies through hands‑on experience and structured guidance.

Essential Functions

  • Contribute to client projects by supporting the analysis of business questions and the development of practical, client‑focused solutions within established consulting frameworks.
  • Collaborate as part of a project team to develop content for client deliverables, including presentations, summaries, and discussion materials.
  • Participate in project‑related activities such as data review, market understanding, and issue structuring under close guidance.
  • Support the preparation and refinement of client‑facing materials to ensure clarity, structure, and relevance for the intended audience.
  • Actively build foundational consulting skills, problem‑solving approaches, and life sciences industry knowledge through project experience, feedback, and formal or informal training.
  • Responsibilities and work priorities are assigned, reviewed, and coached by Consultants, Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers, or Principals.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in consulting, life sciences, healthcare, or related fields.
  • Pharmacist (PharmD or equivalent) background preferred.
  • Strong interest in management consulting and the life sciences industry, with the ability to learn quickly in a project‑based environment.
  • Logical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities, with comfort working on unstructured or ambiguous questions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings and communicate clearly with colleagues across different levels.
  • Basic understanding of business concepts and how external and internal factors influence decision making.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
