Job Description

A Senior Research Manager manages client relationship for more complex or key accounts and oversees multiple projects and clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Management:
   • Key Account Manager (KAM) for 1 or a few clients
   • Client relationship management for more complex or key accounts
2. Project Management:
   • Autonomous management, implementation and coordination of complex research projects
   • Taking client briefs and writing study proposals
   • Propose appropriate methodologies and research approaches
   • Prepare estimates for ad hoc studies
   • Negotiate contracts, or specifications, technically, methodologically and financially
   • Ensure that projects meet objectives and are delivered on-time and within budget
   • Ensure that the project work meets agreed quality standards
   • Report writing with storytelling
   • Presentation of results, including relevant recommendations
3. Strategy:

   Ensuring that ongoing activities and projects adhere to the company's strategic guidelines

4. Revenue:
   • Ensure targets for the accounts are met
   • Share feedback with managers on client needs and potential revenue risks
5. People:
   • Possibility to manage a Research Executive(s) or Panel Leader(s) but not necessary
   • Close collaboration with the Data Solutions Hub
   • Work closely with other members of our sensory and research team and the field team
   • Involved in training and mentoring

Qualifications

Higher education with knowledge in market research and/or sensory research. Minimum 5 years’ experience in sensory and consumer research to be able to manage projects independently. Knowledge of food and/or cosmetic products, quantitative and qualitative consumer research methodologies, sensory methodologies and statistics. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Italian. Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Rigorous, responsive and proactive. Strong organisational and planning skills, that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines.
