Tax manager- quality control

Deloitte Israel is seeking a Manager to join the Quality Control Team in the Tax practice. The role involves reviewing complex tax returns and positions for leading Israeli companies, identifying material tax exposures, reporting gaps and high-risk positions, and assessing local and international tax implications. The Manager will provide practical professional guidance to Tax and Audit teams, work closely with Partners, Directors and senior managers, contribute to technical training and knowledge development, and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth quality reviews of complex tax returns and tax positions.
• Identify material tax exposures, reporting gaps, high-risk positions and tax-planning opportunities.
• Analyze complex corporate and international tax matters, including tax aspects of financial reporting.
• Provide clear, practical and well-supported guidance to Tax and Audit teams.
• Contribute to professional training, workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Manage multiple assignments and stakeholder relationships while meeting tight deadlines.
• Mentor and support team members’ professional development.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification – mandatory. 5–7 years of experience in taxation, gained at a Big Four firm or the Israel Tax Authority - mandatory. Broad and in-depth knowledge of corporate tax, international tax, Israeli tax incentive legislation and tax aspects of financial reporting. Proven ability to manage professional relationships with Partners, Directors and senior managers in the Audit practice. Previous experience managing employees and/or leading professional teams. Ability to independently learn, analyze and address complex professional matters. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of service orientation. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across the firm.

תחומי אחריות

• ביצוע בקרות איכות מעמיקות על דוחות ועמדות מס מורכבים.
• איתור חשיפות מס מהותיות, פערי דיווח, עמדות מס בסיכון והזדמנויות לתכנון מס.
• ניתוח סוגיות מורכבות בתחום מס חברות, מיסוי בינלאומי והיבטי מס בדיווח הכספי.
• מתן ייעוץ מקצועי, ברור ומבוסס לצוותי המס והביקורת.
• השתתפות בפיתוח והעברת הדרכות, סדנאות ותכנים מקצועיים.
• ניהול מספר משימות וממשקי עבודה במקביל, תוך עמידה בלוחות זמנים צפופים.
• חניכה, תמיכה ופיתוח מקצועי של חברי הצוות.

רישיון ראיית חשבון – חובה. 5–7 שנות ניסיון בתחום המיסוי, במשרד Big Four או ברשות המסים בישראל - חובה. ידע רחב ומעמיק במס חברות, מיסוי בינלאומי, חוקי עידוד בישראל והיבטי מס בדיווח הכספי. יכולת מוכחת לנהל קשרים וממשקי עבודה מקצועיים מול שותפים, דירקטורים ומנהלים בכירים בחטיבת הביקורת. ניסיון קודם בניהול עובדים ו/או בהובלת צוותים מקצועיים. יכולת ללמוד ולנתח באופן עצמאי סוגיות מקצועיות מורכבות. יכולת לנהל מספר משימות וסדרי עדיפויות במקביל, גם תחת לחץ ובלוחות זמנים צפופים. כושר ביטוי מצוין בכתב ובעל פה. יחסי אנוש מצוינים, תודעת שירות גבוהה ויכולת עבודה מול ממשקים רבים. יכולת עבודה עצמאית לצד שיתוף פעולה אפקטיבי עם אנשי מקצוע ברחבי המשרד.
