Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Release and revise production schedules to vendors and update monthly schedules in SAP.
• Release schedules for spare parts requirements and ensure timely material availability.
• Assess stock levels against pull/manual shortage lists and manage inventory effectively.
• Follow up with vendors and transport agencies for material dispatch and delivery.
• Support supplier capacity enhancement initiatives in coordination with SSU.
• Process spare part clearances through SAP, including delivery number generation and excise/non-excise allocations.
• Handle correspondence with vendors and transport agencies regarding supply-related matters.
• Coordinate with vendors and the Pricing Cell for resolution of price increase/decrease proposals and negotiate volume discounts where applicable.
• Conduct vendor visits and review supplier performance and operational issues.
• Resolve part quality concerns, including issues raised through VRTs/PVTs.
• Coordinate with Accounts for vendor payments, statutory forms, reconciliations, recoveries, and closure of pending issues.
• Implement Engineering Notes (ENs), value engineering initiatives, and material account reconciliations for vendor-aided parts.
• Liaise with Strategic Sourcing teams for vendor finalization, alternate source development, and share of business (SOB) allocation.
• Drive supply chain and logistics improvement initiatives such as supplier rating, Two-Bin System, cross-docking, DBM implementation, milk runs, packaging material recirculation, and coordination with MLL.
