Job Purpose

To serve as the enterprise-wide litigation lead for Hindalco — managing, coordinating, and providing strategic direction on all high-value, high-stakes, criminal, and complex litigation across the organization. The role also provides direct legal support on litigation matters within the Corporate cluster, including oversight of the downstream aluminium downstream litigation portfolio. The incumbent also manages employment law matters, internal SOPs related to litigation, and IP brand management responsibilities within the corporate team.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

• Serve as enterprise SME for litigation management
• Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise litigation SOPs and best practice frameworks.
• Advisory and Escalation support
• Maintain litigation dashboard
• Advise clusters on litigation strategy, develop pre-litigation settlement protocols, drive ADR mechanisms, and support litigation cost optimization programs.
• Ensure consistent litigation management standards across all clusters
• Provide advisory and escalation support to the team members on complex or high-value matters.
• Maintain litigation dashboard for the corporate cluster; prepare litigation risk reports for the Cluster Head.
