Job Summary
Specialist, HR Country Management is responsible for supporting employees, BU managers across a broad range of country HR matters for Bangalore location. In addition, this role is also required to partner with primary HRCMs / other stakeholders in supporting important HR projects / deliverables across India and other countries, as required. The role also provides business facilitation and transformation support to ensure effective execution of HR priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide organizational support for Bangalore in the areas of:
- Labour compliance
- Employee relations
- Compensation and benefits
- Organizational development
- Policies and procedures
- Case management
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Workforce planning initiatives
- Support in drafting country-specific HR policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Facilitate employee engagement programs and initiatives in the location
- Support and manage employee grievances.
- Handle workforce planning activities in coordination with business and HR stakeholders.
- Manage employee casework, including disciplinary procedures and related documentation.
- Hands on experience on handling coaching and performance improvement plans
- Collaborate with extended HR teams to effectively implement HRCM activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, managers, and business unit leaders to support effective implementation of HR policies.
- Support HRCMs in HR-related mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Provide business facilitation and transformation support as required.
Education and Qualifications & Other Mandatory Requirements
Higher education required, preferably MBA in HR or MSW or equivalent
Office worker – Expected to work 5 days from the office.
Relevant Work Experience
8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the IT/ITES sector.
At least 5 years of close experience in handling case management, workforce planning and employee grievance handling.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in labour compliance will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in AI is highly recommended
- Relevant work experience in Factories / Manufacturing set up in an added advantage
- Open minded individuals, who can quickly align with the organization culture, role and the team
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Quick adaptability for MNC environment and navigate the path independently
- Strong conflict management skills and ability to deal effectively with difficult situations and stakeholders.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good teamwork and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong people management and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of handling disciplinary cases, terminations, and employee grievances.
- Knowledge in HR mergers and acquisitions.
