Your role

In the role of Technology Architect / Senior Technology Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the Architecture and high-level design artifacts. You will also do technical feasibility and identify smart ways of completing client's requirement. You will guide the team technically and work closely with offshore team acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore. As part of the Cyber Security team, In the role of "Cyber Security Engineer" you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency. You will be responsible for security engineering within a project capacity with a view to ensuring the company is in line with security & compliance requirements. Drive and implement solutions for reducing technical risks and a reduction in security vulnerabilities across a broad range of platforms including on premise and cloud hosted solutions.

Area of Responsibility:

• Perform design reviews of new solutions, products, and services to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate mitigations.
• Responsible for delivering high quality services and creative solutions across Network, Systems, Voice, Mobile, Wifi platforms and Cloud services.
• Responsible for monitoring and driving Security Compliance during project lifecycle Implementing security solutions and initiatives addressing new vulnerabilities.
• Responsible for working with technical teams to develop solutions to secure standards.
• Develop and publish new technical controls where gaps are visible.
• Assist in the development of strategies that continuously seek to improve the efficiency of cyber security deliverables within the project lifecycle.
• Engages across multiple functions, both business and technical, to ensure services consistently match needs and expectations.
• Ensures accurate delivery progress reporting is completed and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Preferred

Minimum 5 years previous network security experience gained within a large commercial environment. Deep understanding and experience of relevant technologies and systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations. Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided. Understanding of Cloud Technologies and their related security best practices. Understanding of Database and data security principles in a global environment. CISSP, SSCP or similar security certifications. Understanding of Web application technologies and their security best practices. Experience of analysing, assessing and resolving complex technology requirements, problems and issues. Strong experience in designing, integrating and deploying security solutions in a dynamic, high pressure working environment. Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice. Familiarity with common compliance requirements – GDPR, PCI-DSS, Telco Act. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations. Ability to create management reporting to convey operational metrics, trends or other key information. Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided. Experience of analysing, assessing and resolving complex technology requirements, problems and issues. Strong experience in designing, integrating and deploying security solutions in a dynamic, high pressure working environment. Strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice.
