The Product Compliance Specialist I is expected to own and improve product verification workflows such as Bin Checks, Test Buys, Metrology, ML model labelling and behaviors — to detect counterfeit, used-sold-as-new, damaged, wrong item and expired products in Amazon’s fulfillment network. This role is expected to write and maintain SOPs, perform root cause analysis, handle escalations, train the team, and work closely with stakeholders to improve product quality outcomes. The specialist is also expected to support upstream and downstream detection systems to integrate into the workflow seamlessly.
The Global Product Verification (GPV) team is Amazon's premier product authentication and verification team, protecting marketplace integrity through comprehensive product verification systems. We specialize in seller verification, strategic product procurement, and implementing comprehensive authentication standards. By focusing on PQ metrics, we tackle critical challenges including counterfeit prevention, expiration compliance, and product condition accuracy. Through collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, we ensure Amazon remains the most trusted destination for authentic products worldwide.
Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
