Operations support engineer (integration platform, biztalk & edi)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive Senior Operations Support Engineer (Integration Platform) who will be responsible for operational management, support, monitoring, deployment, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise integration platforms. Ensures reliable and secure operation of more than 2,000 integrations and 1,200 supplier connections while providing operational support, onboarding, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities –

• Manage Production and Non-Production Integration Platforms supporting 2,000+ integrations and 1,200 supplier connections.
• Administered integration infrastructure, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and platform maintenance.
• Led application, supplier, and user onboarding, while managing user access and security permissions.
• Supported Azure and AWS integration environments, ensuring high availability, performance, reliability, and governance compliance.
• Manage SSL certificates, authentication mechanisms, security configurations, and secure system connectivity.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), change management, and major incident resolution to ensure SLA compliance.
• Coordinate deployments, environment migrations, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity activities.
• Generate operational, compliance, and performance reports and maintain platform documentation and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development, QA, infrastructure, security teams, and external vendors to support integration services.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives across platform operations, support processes, and service delivery.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Knowledge & Skills REQUIRED:

Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience –

• Integration Platforms - BizTalk Server: Managed File Transfer (GoAnywhere MFT), and Processes, Integration Principles and Best Practices, Integration Monitoring and Alerting.
• Infrastructure & Operating Systems – Linux & UNIX Administration, Windows Server, SSL Certificates Management.
• Databases - SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• DevOps & Tools - Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines.
• EDI Platforms and Processes.
• OFTP2, Event-Driven Architecture.
• Messaging Patterns.
• EDI & B2B Integration, EDI Standards (EDIFACT, X12).
• Mapping Development, Schema Development.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management.
• On-Call Support.

Knowledge & Skills Good To Have:

• Azure Integration Services, API Management (Apigee), Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus.
• Automation & Scripting – PowerShell, Bash / Linux Shell Scripting, Python.
