Business analyst (iit fresher)

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to join our organization. In this role, you will support cross-functional teams in understanding client needs, documenting requirements, ensuring project alignment, and driving value through process improvements. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates who want to grow in the business analysis and technology domain.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn tools like JIRA, Figma, Trello, Asana, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Participate in internal and client meetings to understand project objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Create wireframes, process flows, and functional specifications using tools like Figma.
• Support in preparing test cases and performing user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Log and track bugs or enhancement requests in tools like JIRA, Trello, or Mentis.
• Help monitor project timelines and deliverables.
• Share regular updates with stakeholders and support project reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: o Bachelor’s degree from Top 6 IITs preferred with educational backgrounds in Biotechnology, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Physics, or other non-computer science disciplines demonstrating strong analytical aptitude.
• o Minimum 60% aggregate marks required
• Freshers or recent graduates with academic projects or internships in business analysis, client communication, or IT systems are welcome.
• • Interest in technology, client interaction, and project coordination.
• Exposure to MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) & CRM or documentation tools is a plus.
