Overview

As a Client Insurance Executive, you'll work with a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance clients, helping to manage their day-to-day programmes while protecting their interests and supporting their long-term goals. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the business, build relationships with reinsurers and external partners, and contribute to the smooth running of client insurance operations.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of insurance activities, from policy administration and renewals through to claims, board reporting, and regulatory support. How you'll make an impact

You'll play an important role in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance clients, helping ensure that policies, renewals, claims, and administrative activities are handled accurately and efficiently. You'll work closely with colleagues across the wider insurance team, support board and governance activities, and help maintain effective relationships with reinsurers, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.

A key part of the role involves preparing and reviewing insurance documentation, monitoring reinsurance arrangements, supporting claims settlements, and producing reports that help clients make informed decisions. You'll also contribute to maintaining regulatory and solvency requirements while helping to deliver a consistent, high-quality service experience for clients.

You may also:

• Prepare and review policy wordings, renewal reports, and presentation materials.
• Support board meetings through the preparation of board packs, minutes, and follow-up actions.
• Monitor reinsurance recoveries and work with reinsurers to obtain outstanding amounts.
• Produce insurance accounts, underwriting statistics, and other management information.
• Support and share knowledge with junior colleagues while reviewing completed work where required.

About you

Here's what you'll bring to the role:

• Experience working in a professional, client-focused environment within insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or a related sector.
• An understanding of insurance and reinsurance administration processes.
• The ability to review information carefully, identify inconsistencies, and maintain accurate records.
• Confidence preparing reports, documentation, and presentation materials for a range of stakeholders.
• The ability to explain technical information in a clear and straightforward way, both in writing and conversations.
• Experience working with multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting agreed deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across the wider team.
• An interest in professional development through the CII qualification pathway or an equivalent industry qualification.
• A commitment to working ethically, following policies and procedures, and acting in clients' best interests.
• The ability to contribute positively to team discussions, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
