Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Lab Test Means Engineer (f/m) to join our Flight and Integration Test Centre based in Toulouse, France.

You will join the team in charge of developing and deploying Lab Test Means components from instrumentation. In a context of increasing workload and transnational projects, you will contribute to the development, testing, and deployment components to support avionic system test campaigns.

Your challenges:

  • Prepare documentation and execute testing and deployment of hardware and software components.
  • Define technical deliverables for subcontracted activities and manage associated purchase orders and receipts.
  • Update the test matrix, support bug fixing, and drive technical updates on integration benches.
  • Harmonize test procedures and technical means with other European test facilities (Filton, Hamburg, Bremen). Occasionnal business trip can be be required.

Your boarding pass:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a designer, developer, or tester in lab test means, instrumentation, or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical interfaces for test systems (racks, connectors, cabling).
  • Strong knowledge of avionics system interfaces and standard protocols (A429, AFDX, discretes, analog, CAN).
  • Basic knowledge of IT (computing machines, networks, cybersecurity rules) and programming languages.
  • Intermediate level in English and willingness to undertake occasional business travel in Europe.
